GREAT NEWS!!!

I have been dying to shout the news, but it seems that its okay for me to now :) These very favorite people of mine are expecting a baby in October!!! I am so excited I could jump out my window!! Don't worry though, I only live in a one story house so the damage would be minimal :) Jamie is 12 weeks along and due October 13th! You may have all heard but in case you hadn't, I couldn't help but spread the news!

Innocence

My aunt Kathleen gave us these WAY cute sailor dresses. We LOVE love them! When I opened the boxes Shanna wanted to immediately try them on. She is such a girl :) She even wanted to sleep in her new pretty white shoes :) I let her..Why not? Thanks Aunt Kathy! You are the best:)

LOVE is in the air...

Seeing as Valentines Day is so near and seeing as it is a holiday of love I thought it would be appropriate to share with you those I love so much!

I did post this picture last year, but I had to include a pic of my hubby. LOVE him so so much! My birthday was recently and he stayed home from work most of the day so I could sleep in, get breakfast in bed, and then he took me shopping! What more could a girl want..or a mom too?! :)

Shanna is ever growing more and more helpful! She occasionally feels the need to maul her sister, but for the most part, she is really gentle and sweet. She constantly runs to get diapers, clothes, burp cloths, you name it, for her little sister.

This little one is absolutely the sweetest, most mild tempered baby ever! She hardly makes a peep when I put her to bed or when I set her in her bouncer to get things done (which happens way more than Shanna, poor girl) We have really enjoyed having her apart of our lives!

On another note some things Shanna has been saying:

Eric was about to head out to do some service for a lady in our ward and put his hat on, but to be silly he put it on backwards.

Shanna: Daddy what you do with your hat?

Daddy: I am wearing it backwards, do you like it?

Shanna: No daddy, put it back

Daddy turns the hat

Shanna: Thank you daddy, that makes me feel better.

I was trying on a few dresses in hopes to find something to wear to the V-day dance.

Shanna: Mommy oh WOW! You are so really beautiful. Like a princess!

Mommy: Thank you Shanna!

Shanna: Daddy is like a prince and mommy is like a princess..

The End to a Wonderful Year!

Christmas was really fun with Shanna this year, other than when the presents were all done, she had to ask where more was..Any one have this problem as well?? Anyway, she really understood the Santa Claus idea and what to do with presents and the excitement that lit up her face was really worth it all! The day after Christmas we went to Ocean Shores with my parents, grandparents and my brothers, sister and sister in law. We did it as one last big fun trip before Bryce and Jamie went back to BYU Idaho for the next 2 semesters..We sure are going to miss them! It was a TON of fun at the beach, however! We took some family photos as well thanks to my grandpa! Here are a few from our photoshoot that were my favorites...

So I am now playing catch up! I have been having a ton of fun with my girls! Also extremely time consuming... I admire those people out there who have 2 kids and can do things around the house and go to the grocery store (I attempted the grocery store just yesterday and let me tell you, I won't be doing that alone again any time soon!!) Also those women who can just function. I feel like I am barely keeping my head above water!! We really are blessed to have such sweet girls in our home though! They sure bring in a wonderful spirit!

Sisters...

Shanna just adores her baby sister...Its always, "Can I hold my baby?" and "Oh no mommy, shes crying, you better feed her!" Also theres, "I just really really love her!" "Look, shes open her eyes!" "Hi baby Lindey, you are so very, really cute!" (this is said in a baby voice) It always cracks me up when she uses a "baby voice" when she has such a high pitched voice already...haha, so cute! She is ALWAYS in her baby sister's face smothering her and loving her and hugging her and...yep if the baby is around its all about her...I am really glad shes taken a liking to Lindey; especially since she has been an only child for almost 3 years with the attention totally on her and now that the attention isn't totally on her, she seems to be doing ok with it! What a relief! It really worried me.
