Well, its been a busy summer as I am sure you can all agree with. Sometimes I seriously wonder if I fell asleep and woke up 2 weeks later. Its that bad. Slow down!! Well this summer has been fun and filled. My sister and brother came home from college at the end of July and we have been spending as much time with them as we can. I had my ultrasound during July and found out we are having a....SURPRISE. :) Actually that's totally my fault because I decided I wanted to try going the whole time without knowing what we were having. Call me crazy.. Its ok, several have. Even I would have a few years ago. But for some reason I wanted a surprise and you know what? Its really quite exciting. next we went to Idaho Falls to visit Eric's family. It was a long trip down and back home, but it sure was fun to visit family and play LOTS of games! :) Lastly, Shanna started preschool. I have mixed feeling about this. Shes my baby. I can't believe it. She really is enjoying it though! Now for the pics:
Getting ready to ride my aunt Teresa's horse.
I couldn't believe she actually did it! I was so proud of her.
Whats better than a movie, popcorn, and snuggle time with Grandpa?
First day of school
Sorry, the lighting is horrible in this pic. But if you can't tell Lindey has her little back pack on as well. She insisted on taking it with her when I dropped Shanna off at school.

The whole surprise thing is starting to sound slightly less crazy by now. I still don't have the guts to do it myself but it's kinda fun when other people do:)
I think it feels like the summer went by too fast because it took so long to get here in the first place. Having something planned for almost every weekend doesn't slow it down either...
Glad you had a good time visiting family. It really is the most important thing. I miss family and look forward to our visits, and then the visits go too fast, and then I wait anxiously for our next visit.
That's exciting to have your baby be a surprise. I'd want to know so I could pick a name and think and dream about the baby with more detail, but I think it could be fun to look forward to finding out the old fashion way too...the way people have done it since the beginning of time. Don't you feel spoiled in a way, that you are part of the tiny percentage of people who have lived that could actually know the gender of the baby before it's born?
Anyway, glad you posted an update. Are you still working as a CNA? I kind of worried about you being pregnant around all the "amazing" smells you will run into as a CNA.
Your girls are so cute. I love Lindy's backpack! Too cute! Sounds like it was a really busy summer. But I'm glad you were able to do so much together before the baby comes. Good luck with your surprise! :)
I think having a surprise is awesome;) Your girls are the cutest!!:)
